This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you
use the website or send an enquiry through it.

Information you provide

If you use the Café AMKA enquiry form, we may collect the
information you provide, including your name, email address,
optional phone number, enquiry type, message and your confirmation
that Café AMKA may use those details to respond to your enquiry.

The enquiry form is intended for event, celebration, catering,
off-site event and general enquiries.

How we use enquiry information

We use enquiry information to receive, review and respond to your
request, and to manage follow-up relating to the enquiry you sent.

Enquiries submitted through the website are stored as private
administrative records in the Café AMKA website and are also sent
by email to Café AMKA for follow-up.

Spam prevention and Google reCAPTCHA

The enquiry form uses Google reCAPTCHA v2 to help distinguish
genuine visitors from automated or abusive submissions.
When the enquiry form is used, information required for reCAPTCHA
verification may be processed by Google in accordance with Google’s
own privacy and service terms.

The website also uses a short-lived technical rate-limit based on
the visitor’s network address to reduce repeated form submissions.
The rate-limit is temporary and is used for abuse prevention.

Email delivery

Website enquiries are delivered through Café AMKA’s configured
email service. The email address you provide is used as the
reply-to address so that Café AMKA can respond directly to your
enquiry.

Google Maps and external links

The Visit Us page contains links that can open Google Maps to help
you find Café AMKA locations. Google Maps is an external service.
If you choose to follow one of those links, Google’s own privacy
practices apply to your use of that service.

YouTube videos

Some Café AMKA pages include videos embedded from YouTube using
YouTube’s privacy-enhanced embed domain. When the embedded player
loads or you interact with it, YouTube or Google may receive
technical information about your browser, device and interaction
with the player and may use cookies or similar technologies in
accordance with their own privacy practices.

Cookies and similar technologies

The Café AMKA public website does not currently use custom
analytics or advertising tracking code.

The enquiry form uses Google reCAPTCHA, which may use cookies or
similar technologies as part of Google’s security and anti-abuse
services.

WordPress may also use technical cookies for authenticated website
administrators when they sign in to manage the website. Public
visitor registration and public commenting are currently disabled.

Analytics and advertising

The Café AMKA website does not currently run Google Analytics,
advertising pixels or similar marketing-tracking integrations.
If this changes, this Privacy Policy should be updated to reflect
the additional processing.

How long enquiry information is kept

The website does not currently apply an automated deletion schedule
to enquiry records. Enquiry information may remain in Café AMKA’s
private administrative records until it is manually removed or is
no longer needed for the purpose for which it was collected.

Who may access enquiry information

Enquiry information is intended for authorised Café AMKA personnel
and website administrators who need access to receive, manage or
respond to enquiries, and for the technical services required to
operate the enquiry process, including email delivery and
reCAPTCHA verification.

Security

We use reasonable technical and administrative measures in the
website to limit unauthorised access to enquiry information.
However, no website or electronic communication system can
guarantee absolute security.
